MS Dhoni has shown a lot of class on and off the field. His humbleness and down to earth personality has got him a lot of fans going around. His patriotism is known to everybody! The love for the Indian Army is seen each and every time he is off cricket. Not once but many times we have seen people being very patriotic about their country! MS Dhoni displayed a similar instance in the third T20I against NewZeland.

Earlier, India won the toss and decided that they will chase! A fan breached the ground security and ran straight towards MS Dhoni! This isn't new for him Fans before too have breached the security and ran to greet him. The fan that came running towards him had the Indian Flag in his hand. The moment he bowed down to greet him, the Flag accidentally touched the ground.

MS Dhoni first Picked Up the flag and then greeted the Fan! This incident clearly erupted well on Twitter with twitterates going crazy with their tweets!

Here's the video of the incident:

The first T20I between India and NewZealand Commenced recently. The bad news is that India Lost the T20I Batting second. Summarising the first T20I, New Zealand scored a mammoth of 219.
In return, India could only manage 139 in 19.2 overs. Hard Luck!

What caught everyone's eye was the stunner from Dinesh Kartik on the boundary to dismiss Daryl Mitchell! New Zeland got off to a flyer in the first T20I. The Kiwi Opener Colin Munro Played a brilliant Knock of 34 from 20 deliveries. Things weren't looking good for India then. What added to the misery was, in 11th over Dinesh Kartik put down the Kiwi Opener! It was a dolly indeed which he should have clinched on.

It was a lucky day for Kartik as God seem to be very kind on him. He pulled off a brilliant catch on the ropes to dismiss Mitchell. Having patience and keeping the nerve is important in such situations which is exactly what Dinesh Karthik did!

The event goes this way,
It was the final delivery of the 15th over when Hardik Pandya bowled a length delivery to Mitchell. The debutant went for the lob over the long-on boundary, but the connection was not perfect as the ball sailed straight to Karthik. Emphasizing more on it, Karthik was moving backward after catching the ball comfortably and the 33-year-old showed a brilliant presence of mind to push the ball back before stepping on the ropes. Karthik did touch the ropes after releasing the ball and completed a sensational take by diving forward and grabbing it.

Watch the video here,

We certainly need to forget what happened earlier and appreciate the efforts of our won DK. In the absence of the regular Skip Virat Kohli, Indian team seems to be struggling a lot! The performance of the team in the 4th ODI and the first T20I is worrying many. This is a clear indication to tighten up their shoes as the world cup isn't far.

Thank you for your time and patience !

Tell one thing MS Dhoni cannot do!

MS Dhoni can do just about anything - he can finish games, strategies on the field at the drop of a hat, win Indian Premier League trophies. Well, he can also speak in Marathi.

During the fifth and final ODI against New Zealand in Wellington, MS Dhoni was once again seen guiding the bowlers as India defended 252 to clinch the series 4-1. As Rohit Sharma deployed Yuzvendra Chahal and Kedar Jadhav after Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya had rocked New Zealand's top order, Dhoni expertly guided the spinners on what to bowl and where to bowl.

MS Dhoni's constant coaching is nothing new. But what took everyone by surprise was his Marathi speaking skills.

Watch this video doing the rounds on the Internet.

Kedar Jadhav trusts MS Dhoni blindly. It was Dhoni who had suggested Jadhav bowl during the 2017 home series against New Zealand and Jadhav has not looked back since. Essentially, a middle-order batsman, Kedar Jadhav is now a solid all-rounder and a regular partnership breaker. On Sunday, he dismissed Kane Williamson to derail New Zealand's chase.

After India had clinched the series last week, Jadhav had said he would close his eyes and bowl wherever Dhoni wanted him to.

"The kind of cricketer I am today is because of MS Dhoni. He has always encouraged me. He had seen me in in Zimbabwe first and in the New Zealand series at home in 2016 he just wanted two overs from me and luckily for me in my second over, I got two wickets and from thereon all the seniors - Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma - have been very encouraging.

They give me so much confidence that I don't feel the pressure of a part-time bowler.

"I must thank Virat and Mahi bhai for letting me bowl exactly when I want t bowl. When a wicket falls, they immediately sneak in my overs so I am very lucky I think," Jadhav told the broadcasters after the match.

"In the past also, I have mentioned every time I have a question, I look at him and he tells me 'you have to bowl here.. you have to bowl there.' And I close my eyes and bowl there and get a wicket," he said.

Cricket is a game full of ups and downs . Of course it is again fulfilled with some exciting things too.

Catch By Jason Roy in BPL

Who doesn't love to take a stunning catch? I'm going to share a similar incident that took place in BPL(Bangladesh Premier League). England Cricketer took a blinder in the match against Chittagong Vikings and Sylhet Sixers.

The Incident:

The incident happened on  4th ball of the 18th over. Yasir Ali hit the ball very firmly. Alok Kapali was bowling at that time. The Ball was traveling like a ticket bullet.

Jason Roy the Englishman was fielding on Boundary. The Ball was traveling like anything. But he kept his eyes on the ball and dived to take one of the best catch. It was so stunning that for a moment he even couldnt believe himself.

Below is the video of the incident:
The end result of the match was that Sixers beat the Vikings comfortably by 29 runs.

In the ongoing test match between Australia and Sri Lanka, we witnessed a very shocking incident.
It reminded of what happened to Australia's Opener Phil Hughes, wherein he was hit hard by the fastballer which ultimately cost Phil his life.

The Incident took place in the 31st over of SriLankan Batting. Sri Lanka had got a good start with 82/0. Pat Cummins came in steaming and bowled a delivery which measured 142.5 KPH and it hit the Batsman Dimuth Karunaratne behind his neck. We hope the injury isn't serious though.

Here's the link to the video.

Later he was taken of the field on a stretcher and the play resumed.
We hope the injury isn't too serious.

Ongoing India vs Australia test series is nicely balanced at the moment. India comfortably winning the first test match at Adelaide while the Aussies fighting back hard in the Second Test at Optus Stadium in Perth, which means that the series is leveled at 1-1 with two tests remaining.

The next Test match between the two cricketing giants is scheduled at MCG on Boxing Day i.e on 26th December. The two have met before on several occasions with Australia winning each time. The story is different this time around. India sounds a bit profound and Australia sounds a bit low and short of confidence. We cannot completely rip off Australia though. In fact, each and every team is very strong in its own backyard.

If India has to succeed in the test match it has to follow certain things:

  • Openers
The biggest headache for team India this Australian Summer has been the opening pair. Neither M Viajy nor KL Rahul has been doing well as an opener. Prithvi Shaw was the original opener but he ruled out of the series adds more salt to the wound. Thus the skipper has to look for alternatives for the opening slot! Personally speaking, both Kl and Vijay deserve a last chance to prove themselves but Virat Kohli hs the final word afterall.

  • Batting Failure
India as a batting unit has not lived up to the expectations they usually set for themselves. Apart from Virat, Pujara, and glimpses of Ajinkya Rahane, no one has really played a part in the batting department. With the availability of Mayank Agrawal, they now have various option to try out with hoping Rohit Sharma to be fit and fine for playing the next game too.

  • Team Selection
Team India have to get their team selection damn right at MCG. In the last test, India played with four seamers while the Aussies with a spinner and that was the separating line between the two. Apart from that India has to believe in themselves that they can win from any situation and show the fighting spirit ey showed in the first test at Adelaide. If all the boxes tick then there's no stopping the fire for sure.

Micheal Hussey has a special message for team India,

"Conditions in Perth were quite unique and in Melbourne condition is totally different from the previous test. I think he(Hardik Pandya) is a bit like Mitchel Marsh when he's in form he goes very well".

Note: Third India vs Australia test match will be played at MCG on 26th December 2018.

Indian Premier League aka IPL is the most celebrated cricket festival not only in India but all over the world. Recently the Ipl auction was concluded on 18 December in Jaipur. The auction this time wasnt't that big as it is every year. There were 1003 players who fought for 70 spots in the season which will be held around March-April next year. IPL is known as the cash-rich league all over the world. Many have gone from rags to riches by participating in it. This year too wasn't new.

Many young players grabbed deals(contracts) in crores while the old horses being rejected or can say they went for fewer price deals. Players like Jaydev Unadkat this year too grabbed a good deal from the franchise. Apart from him, there were two players who were in the limelight this auction. They were-

They both are cousins. Actually, the lead to the story of these cousins is very interesting. They both would have been successful handball players had their elders in the family decided to be. The reason is that their father, Satvinder Singh is himself a handball player who played at the national level. But fate had written something else for them.

"There were a couple of handball goalposts in our backyard, but they have long been replaced by cricket nets," Satvinder told TOI on Wednesday. "I never liked cricket as a sport. But destiny has something else in store. What can I say? We are a very proud family. Ab to teesra (Tejpreet Singh) bhi cricket mein achha kar raha hai (Now the third one too is doing well in cricket)," he added. Tejpreet, 17, is a leg-spinner and plays for Punjab U-19.

Prabhsimran was picked by Kings XI Punjab for 4.8 cr while Anmolpreet was picked for 80 lakhs by Mumbai Indians. Well, we wish the two rising superstars in Indian Cricket good luck. Like they have been showered by the money, they gift their respective franchise with a Trophy in the upcoming season of IPL which is to be scheduled in March.
